UL reliability laboratory completes 10-million-cycle validation capability
New multi-station life rigs and a temperature-rise system enable 32 parallel life-test channels, covering full UL 61058 and EN 61058 testing.
Testing as a design input
The reliability lab is not only for outgoing inspection — it feeds the R&D loop. The new 32-channel life rig validates combinations of spring materials and heat treatments in parallel, compressing new-material validation from six weeks to ten days.

- Mechanical / electrical life: 32 parallel channels, up to 10 million cycles
- Temperature rise: 16 channels, ±0.5 °C accuracy
- Salt spray chambers: neutral and acetic acid, up to 480 h continuous
- Glow-wire and needle-flame to UL94 and IEC 60695
